Christmas time has come to pass! Happy Yule to all of my Pagan lovelies. May you have a merry solstice, a warm Yule log, and a new year filled with love ❤
This year, I finally was able to enjoy a Christmas with my parents and family in seven years since I moved out of state. My sister has started diving into reading more, so I left her a nice pile of books from my personal collection for her to read. It’s always fun to share likes of books with my mom or sister because then we can discuss it like our own mini-book club. 🙂
I am so thankful for the books I received under the Christmas tree from my mom and aunt. Also, I have a Barnes N Noble gift card anxiously awaiting usage for when I return to Virginia. I requested more ARC’s this month, though I slightly regret as I am trying hard to finish the ones I had previously requested. That whole percentage thing is a big downer, especially when trying to earn Disney/Hyperion books.
In Helen’s Hands
The Night Country
Of Salt and Shore
The Sheikh’s Accidental Wife
Infamous in Love
The Fighters Series
Christmas Pact (audible)
The Guinevere Deception So I attached the link to the special cover I got as well. I am still at my mom’s house, and totally forgot to take pictures of the covers I received prior to leaving. So bear with my post this month as it only includes links. But for real, this is the prettiest and most eerie cover that fits this book perfectly. If you missed my review of my e-ARC, here it is.
The Night Circus (audible)
There Will Come a Darkness Every book that readers enjoyed with this are either on my TBR or I have read and loved them, so I am so excited I got this! My amazing Aunt surprised me with this, and I seriously dived right into reading it. This is one of the books that I have been trying to restrain myself the hardest from buying on audible.
The Darkest Part of the Forest Holly Black so wonderfully and creatively has created a world of fae. In this book, fae and human exist together, unlike the world of Cruel Prince. Also, LGBT? Um, heck yes!
Permanent Record a cute romance between a struggling college graduate and a girl whose lived in the celebrity life for so long that she knows only the public and successful life.
Queen of Nothing My mom unknowingly bought me the Barnes N Noble exclusive cover! And it is more beautiful and mysterious and captivating than I could have ever imagined!!!
The Gilded Wolves Reminiscent of Six of Crows to me, a band of five team up to find an ancient artifact that the Order needs. Preparing for an amazing journey!
King of Scars in honor of Leigh Bardugo’s series filming for Netflix, I am burning through this series. I am so sad to have finished the Grisha series and Six of Crows, but Nicolai (spelling?) is seriously one of my favorite characters! Heart swoon.
How was your Christmas haul? Have you read any of these books, or are they on your TBR list? Let me know your opinions 🙂
Leave a comment, give me a follow, and check out my book loving links 🙂
