Absolutely 5/5! I loved this book. It picked up nicely from the first. I liked getting to put all the clues together at the same time as the MC to solve who was responsible for the main problem in the book, whereas some books you read you solve before the MC. I still hate the cover. Even the title was kinda lame. Yes, there is finally some good smutt in the book, but the cover is beyond air brushed (notice how MC has no armpit), and the cover and title give no notice to the amazing plot that is the series.
I really liked how Andrews gave us more information into the Baylor family. This book really explains the cousins and Nevada’s sisters and their abilities. Of course the drool worthy Mad Rogan is back and more mysterious than ever.
Augustine presents Nevada with a compelling case that she has to solve with her PI abilities. Who killed Cornelius’ wife and why?
If you haven’t read Burn For Me in a bit, I would highly recommend reading it to refresh your brain.
